May 2020

Click on the calendar above which includes links and ideas/activities to enjoy and even celebrate your Catholic faith in different ways.  You can print it out if you choose, and check off the items you complete.  Keep track of your activities, take pictures, write it down and share it with the P.R.E.P. Office.  We look forward to seeing how you are celebrating our Catholic faith this month.

May Crowning – Father Ken lead the Archdiocesan Rosary campaign on May 10, 2020 (Mother’s Day) and crowned the statue of the Blessed Mother in our St. Isidore Chapel.  Did you watch it?  Did you crown your statue at home or put flowers near a picture of the Blessed Mother?  Did you draw or color a picture of Our Lady?  Send us pictures of how you honored Our Lady during the month of May.  What is your favorite title for Mary?

MAY 15 – The celebration of our patron, St. Isidore of Madrid or St. Isidore the Farmer.  View the Solemn Mass for his feast day and the Blessing of our Fields by Fr. Ken Brabazon through our parish website.

Remember to pray for our seminarians.  Those currently serving as transitional deacons were scheduled to be ordained to the priesthood on Saturday, May 16, their ordination has been postponed until June 20, 2020 due to the Corona Virus.

You are invited to participate in the Archdiocesan Virtual May Procession here.

Monday, May 25 – We celebrate as a nation all of those who have died in service to our country.  Fr. Ken Brabazon will be offering prayers at 10:30 AM at our St. Isidore cemetery for all deceased, especially those who have given their lives for our freedoms.  You may view the live-stream here.

MAY 31 – Pentecost Sunday.  We celebrate the birthday of the Church today.  How will you celebrate?
